Job Description
We are looking for a talented and passionate Frontend Developer to join our dynamic e-commerce platform team. You will be responsible for building highly responsive, intuitive, and performant user interfaces that delight our customers. This role involves working on critical user-facing features, optimizing web performance, and collaborating closely with product designers and backend engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, modular, and reusable code.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement best practices for frontend development.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability of the frontend components.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
- Solid understanding of web standards, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex frontend issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in React.js, including hooks and context API.
- Strong command of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
- Experience with consuming RESTful APIs and potentially GraphQL.
- Knowledge of modern frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
