Job Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our services, working closely with development and operations teams to automate and streamline our deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable infrastructure on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms, primarily Kubernetes and Docker.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improved efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented across the infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployments and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
- Experience with incident response and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in managing and operating Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) and Docker.
- Extensive experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Go, or advanced Shell scripting.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
