Job Description
As a Fullstack Developer, you'll be at the heart of our product development, owning features from the database to the user interface. You'll design and implement scalable APIs, build intuitive frontend components, and ensure seamless integration between layers. This role requires a versatile individual who is comfortable working across the entire stack, from database schema design and backend logic to crafting engaging user experiences. You'll be instrumental in bringing new financial products and features to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fullstack applications using Python (Django/Flask) for the backend and React.js for the frontend.
- Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and optimize existing ones.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Manage and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL) and queries.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the platform.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- 3-5 years of experience in fullstack development, with a strong emphasis on both frontend and backend.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python with frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Solid experience with React.js and its ecosystem (hooks, context API, state management).
- In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of security best practices in web application development.
