Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable and fault-tolerant backend services.
- Develop and optimize APIs for various financial products and services.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our FinTech platform.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proven experience building and deploying scalable applications in a production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Required Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Extensive experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Strong knowledge of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS/SNS).
