Job Description
As a Software Development Engineer specializing in Frontend, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user-facing aspects of our e-commerce platform. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate design mockups and product requirements into pixel-perfect, responsive, and highly interactive web applications. You will also focus on optimizing application performance and ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility of designs and translate them into high-quality code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance across various devices and browsers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a robust and bug-free user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
- Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+).
- Experience building responsive and adaptive designs for various screen sizes.
- Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment.
Required Technical Skills
- **Frameworks:** Expertise in React.js (preferred), Angular, or Vue.js.
- **Languages:** JavaScript, TypeScript.
- **Styling:** CSS pre-processors (Sass, Less), styled-components, or Tailwind CSS.
- **State Management:** Redux, MobX, or Context API.
- **Tools:** Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, Git.
- **Testing:** Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks.
- **API Integration:** Experience consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
