All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, invites applications from Indian Nationals in the prescribed format for faculty posts (Group 'A') on a Regular / Deputation Basis.
Job Description :
Faculty members at AIIMS Nagpur are responsible for teaching, patient care, research, and administrative duties within their respective departments. The role involves contributing to academic programs, clinical services, and institutional development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Providing high-quality patient care in the Psychiatry department.
- Engaging in teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Conducting research and publishing findings in relevant journals.
- Participating in departmental and institutional administrative activities.
- Contributing to the overall academic and clinical excellence of AIIMS Nagpur.
Requirements :
- Essential Qualification:
- A medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).
- A Post-graduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
- For the specialty of Psychiatry, MD (Psychiatry)/DNB (Psychiatry).
- Experience: 3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
