Job Description :
- Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and performant distributed systems.
- Drive technical excellence, setting architectural direction and best practices for large-scale backend services.
- Mentor and guide senior and principal engineers, fostering a culture of technical leadership and innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect, design, and develop core platform components that handle massive transaction volumes and data throughput.
- Spearhead initiatives to improve system reliability, efficiency, and scalability across multiple domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and deliver impactful solutions.
- Conduct in-depth system performance analysis and optimize critical path components for latency and throughput.
Requirements :
- 8+ years of extensive experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of distributed computing principles, consistency models, and fault tolerance.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
Technical Skills :
- Expert proficiency in Java or Go, with a strong background in concurrent programming and high-performance computing.
- Extensive experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB).
- Proven ability in designing and implementing microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and gRPC services.
- Strong expertise in system design, capacity planning, and performance tuning for distributed environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
