Job Description :
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure microservices using Java and Spring Boot. You'll work on critical components that form the backbone of our platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and implementation of new features and services in our microservices architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to define APIs and system integrations.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring system reliability.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proven track record of designing and building scalable, distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Technical Skills :
- Java 8+/Kotlin
- Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
