Job Description :
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will be a pivotal force in designing, developing, and maintaining the robust backend systems that power our core e-commerce platform. You will tackle complex challenges related to high-volume transactions, real-time data processing, and distributed services, ensuring our platform remains resilient, performant, and future-proof. This role offers the chance to lead technical initiatives, mentor emerging talent, and shape the architectural direction of critical services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and reliable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Architect and implement microservices, ensuring seamless integration and communication across the platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improved efficiency and responsiveness.
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and technical expertise.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support as needed.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proven track record of designing and building large-scale, distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Java, Spring Boot

- SQL/NoSQL Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
