About Company :
State Bank of India (SBI) invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement as Apprentices under The Apprentices Act, 1961. This is a one-year training program designed to provide practical exposure in various functions of the bank.
Job Description :
Apprentices will be engaged in various offices of the bank across different states. The engagement is purely for a training period of one year. Apprentices will receive on-the-job training and will be exposed to the day-to-day operations and functions of the bank. This is not an offer of employment.
Vacancies
Total 6160 vacancies across various states. Specific state-wise vacancies are detailed in the official notification.
Requirements :
- Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates must possess the graduation degree on or before 01.05.2024.
- Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.05.2024, i.e., candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.05.1996 and not later than 01.05.2004 (both days inclusive). Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on an Online Written Test and a Local Language Test. The online written test will comprise General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
Stipend
Selected apprentices will be eligible for a stipend of Rs.15,000/- per month during the one-year apprenticeship period.
