The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) for recruitment to Group “A” - Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B” - Office Assistants (Multipurpose). This is a nationwide recruitment drive for various positions in participating Regional Rural Banks.
Job Description :
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): General clerical duties, customer service, data entry, cash handling.
- Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Branch operations, loan processing, financial services, customer relationship management.
- Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer/Specialist Officer): Senior roles in general banking or specialized fields like IT, Marketing, Treasury, Law, Agriculture.
- Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): Leadership and managerial roles, strategic planning, business development.
Requirements :
- Educational Qualification:
- Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB.
- Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and 2 years of experience.
- Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers): Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., IT, Law, CA) with specific experience.
- Officer Scale-III: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and 5 years of experience.
- Age Limit:
- Office Assistant: Between 18 and 28 years.
- Officer Scale-I: Between 18 and 30 years.
- Officer Scale-II: Between 21 and 32 years.
- Officer Scale-III: Between 21 and 40 years.
Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.
Selection Process
- Office Assistant: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination.
- Officer Scale-I: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Interview.
- Officer Scale-II & III: Single Online Examination, Interview.
