About Company :
Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates for enrolment as Agniveer (MR) for the 02/2024 batch, under the Agnipath scheme. Agniveers will be enrolled in the Indian Navy for a period of four years.
Job Description :
Successful candidates will be enrolled as Agniveer (MR) and will serve in one of the following branches:
- Chef: They would be required to prepare food as per menu (vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products), and accounting of ration. They are also to be trained in fire fighting and damage control.
- Steward: They would be required to serve food in the Officers’ Mess as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu etc. They are also to be trained in fire fighting and damage control.
- Hygienist: They would be required to maintain hygiene in wash rooms and other areas. They are also to be trained in fire fighting and damage control.
Vacancies
Approximately 300 vacancies. The exact distribution of vacancies across branches will be decided by the Indian Navy.
Requirements :
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized Board of School Education.
- Age Limit: Candidate should be born between 01 November 2003 – 30 April 2007 (Both dates inclusive).
- Gender: Unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on shortlisting of candidates through a Computer Based Test (CBT) examination, followed by a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and Medical Examination. Merit list will be prepared based on performance in CBT, subject to qualifying PFT and Medical Examination.
